ABOUT REV. EUGENE DYSZLEWSKI
Rev. Dyszlewski [pronounced dish-lef-ski] is an ordained minister in both the United Church of Christ and American Baptist Church. He is currently the pastor of Lime Rock Baptist Church and holds a position as Community Minister at First Unitarian Church Providence. He is a religious leader and community activist, who has served churches in Rhode Island and in Delaware.
Rev. Dyszlewski has served on the boards of several civil rights organizations, including Marriage Equality Rhode Island and the Religious Coalition for Marriage Equality. He was also on the Board of East Bay Center. He is currently a board member of the Interfaith Counseling Center, and the Southern New England Conference United Church of Christ. Rev. Dyszlewski is a member of the Ethics Committee of Bradley Hospital and is Commissioner of Social Justice with the Rhode Island State Council of Churches.
Prior to his service in ministry, he worked as a licensed professional counselor serving as director of addiction and general practice mental health clinics in New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Rev. Dyszlewski has earned a graduate degree in Theology from Niagara University and a degree in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University.
Rev. Dyszlewski lives in Cranston with his wife of 50 years, Margaret Paccione, Ph.D., a Bradley Hospital Psychologist. They have one daughter, Nicole Paccione Dyszlewski, who is Professor of Law and Assistant Dean at Roger Williams School of Law.
